When most people think about eating a meal at a NASCAR Race, they usually think of overpriced concession stand food. It’s usually mass produced or heated up and it only tastes good if you’ve already had a few beers. For the inexperienced NASCAR Fan, take a stroll through the infield or RV parking area to get a real look at how the better half enjoy a meal at the track.

Some of the best food that I have ever eaten was at a NASCAR Track. I’ve attended many races and have met a lot of fellow tailgators. Once you start to meet other tailgators it’s like being part of a big family.

That’s when the opportunity arises to sample the great food. These tailgators don’t cook your normal hotdogs and hamburgers. A trip to the track is a perfect excuse to empty out the freezer at home. So, all the seafood, steaks, pork, or whatever is brought to the track.

You’re thinking what makes that so special. Well, at a race there are people from all over the United States. No one cooks anything the same way. Plus most of these people have there own special recipes or they add their secret sauce that makes it original. You will be able to taste some of the best hot wings, fried fish, smoked ham in the world.

The food is plentiful all weekend long. If you’re tired of paying to much for concession stand food there is only one thing left to do. Load up your grill and unload your freezer. Find a good parking space and mingle with some of the best tailgating chefs. You can join some of the most brilliant people when it comes to preparing the best food for a weekend at the track.
