Tuscan Garlic Through April 12 at the Olive Garden
If you are a fan of the Tuscan Garlic dishes at Olive Garden, they are back for a short time this month. Through April 12, Tuscan Garlic Chicken and the new Tuscan Garlic Shrimp are being offered at participating restaurants nationwide.
The dishes feature proteins that are sauteed with roasted garlic, roasted peppers and spinach and served in a white wine and garlic cream sauce. All of that is tossed with fettuccine. I imagine it’s quite filling. The company says that it used the layering technique to create the flavorful sauce.
“The white wine and garlic cream sauce is created with simple, fresh ingredients layered in steps to build and accentuate the wonderful flavors of each ingredient,” says Chef Marie Grimm, Director of Culinary Development at Olive Garden. “The combination of Italian herbs and sweet roasted garlic with the texture of the cream and acidity of the white wine makes this a creamy yet light sauce, perfect for spring.”
Olive Garden has also teamed up with 5 Minutes for Mom, where they are sharing culinary tips, tricks and techniques.
