Well Fed On the Town

Temperatures reminiscent of summer are back in the northeast — during the daytime at least — so toss that sweater aside and enjoy the warmth while you can. Before long we will all be bundling up as tightly as can be.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend?

1. BlogHer Boston - The BlogHer Reach Out Tour is invading Boston this Saturday. Bloggers from around the northeast will come together to learn, educate and enlighten. Topics range from basics for beginners to more advanced panels like How Social Media Can Save Dinner, which is moderated by yours truly.
2. The Spooky Bronx Zoo - Magic shows, spooky stories, costume parades and more will dot the landscape of the Bronx Zoo beginning on Saturday, October 11, and continuing through Oct. 26.
3. New York Food & Wine Festival - The Northeast is really the place to be this weekend. For the first time ever, the famed Food & Wine festival by Food & Wine Magazine and a host of others is invading the Big Apple. There are events going on all over town.
4. Go outside! It’s a beautiful weekend for leaf viewing, apple picking and hayride taking.
