Young Kids Banned from Disneyworld Restaurant
Yikes. Although I don’t think the restaurant is necessarily very kid-friendly to begin with, I have to admit I’m a little surprised that Disney has taken such a strong stance on this. Starting this week, children under 10 are no longer allowed to dine at Walt Disney World’s Victoria & Albert’s restaurant, located in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Truth be told, the restaurant is a fancy schmancy one, and the only Walt Disney World restaurant with a AAA five-diamond rating. Reports indicate that they only get about three families a month with kids under 10, so it’s not a huge loss. It’s not really the type of restaurant that you’re going to be lining up to bring your little munchkin to, and there are plenty of other more appropriate choices for both your time and money.
“We want to be the restaurant that’s available for that adult experience,” said general manager Israel Perez, in a recent press release.
Gents must wear jackets and ladies, dresses or pantsuits, and with prices starting at $125 a person, there are nearly 100 other restaurants that the kids will have more fun at.
