Lindsay Lohan - Restauranteur?
Far be it from me to tell anyone how to raise their children, but if Lindsay Lohan was my kid, fresh from an extra long stint in rehab, a blink-and-you-missed-it stint in jail, and now on the community service trail, the last thing I’d ask her to do is to go in on a restaurant with me. Especially if it involved her constantly-in-trouble dad, Michael Lohan.
Unfortunately, People magazine is reporting that this is exactly what’s happening. Lindsay’s dad is planning to open a restaurant for Lindsay and is out and about now, scouting out suitable locations in the LA area. As he told People, “It will be a place where she can be around people she can trust - where she can hang her hat and call her own.” He went on to say that she’s going to be part-owner, which I’m sure has nothing to do with the fact that he might need her start-up cash to get the place up and running.
His plans include modeling it after a favorite Long Island restaurant and they are aiming to make it a high-end joint.
Puh-leeze. ‘Tis a shame when a celeb’s hangers-on include their dear old dad.
