Eating out at different restaurants on a regular basis can be fun … or not so much if you’re trying to stay on some sort of eating plan or diet. Unless you do a little bit of research first, it can totally do you in.

You’ll find healthy menu choices from almost 30,000 eateries (covering everything from fast food to high-end establishments). The site is partially backed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and is staffed by dietitians and other nutrition experts. To be included on the site, the eating establishment must have menu entrees that have no more than 750 calories, a maximum of 25 grams of fat per full meal and only a very small amount of deep-fried items available.
